We do things a little differently from some investors (in all the right ways, if you ask us), so here’s a look at our process — so you can get to know us better and see if we’re the right fit for your journey.

We invest in early-stage tech startups — just like yours! At this stage, your focus should be on building, not obsessing over pitch decks or rehearsing the perfect script. We don’t want to add to that hassle!

That’s why our first step is simple: fill out the form below. We ask the right questions to understand your startup, not just how polished your deck looks. Of course, if you have one and want to share, go for it!

Hot tip: Take the time to answer the questions thoughtfully — it helps us get a clearer picture of what you're building.

Once you submit your form, we’ll review it carefully to see if we’re the right fit for each other.

If something isn’t clear or we think you’ve misunderstood a question, we might ask you to resubmit—it’s all about giving you the best shot to impress.

If we like what we see, we’ll send you a meeting link to chat with our Investment team.

​

And if it’s not quite the right fit? We’ll still reach out. We want to see if there are other ways we can support you, and if you're curious, we’re happy to share why we passed at this stage.

After our initial chat, we take your startup to our wider Investment Committee. For us, it’s not just about writing a cheque — it’s about making sure we’re the right people to help you grow. If we believe we are, you’ll hear from us.

At this stage, we’ll start digging deeper into your financials and tech. If everything checks out, we move into something that sets us apart — building a plan with you.

For the next 12-24 months (or longer), we’ll be hands-on, working alongside you to grow your business. To kick things off, we’ll need about an hour of your time. In return, you’ll walk away with a clear, structured plan outlining exactly how Scalare will help you achieve your objectives over the next year.

A key part of our approach is matching you with the right advisor from our team — someone dedicated to supporting you beyond the growth plan we build together.
